Amid worsening weather conditions due to Cyclone Biparjoy, huge waves were seen lashing Mumbai's iconic Marine Drive on June 14, 2023 - a day before the storm is expected to make landfall.

Choppy sea conditions have been witnessed in many places on India's west coast since Biparjoy formed.

In Gujarat's Amreli, police personnel were seen delivering essential items like milk to Shiyalbet villages via boats.

In Gujarat's Junagadh, residents of coastal areas were seen being shifted to shelters by disaster response personnel.

Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel chaired a meeting at State Emergency Operation Centre in Gandhinagar on June 14.
