Sardar Vallabhai Patel Airport in Gujarat's Ahmedabad witnessed massive waterlogging on July 22 amid heavy rainfall in the state.
The airport was flooded with knee-deep water forcing passengers to wade through it.
Several social media users took to various platforms to share the trouble they faced at the airport.
One of the users @punitjuneja shared a video and slammed the authorities for management at the airport. He wrote. "This is Adani managed Airport, Ahmedabad, Gujarat"
Various videos from the spot showed runways and terminal areas under water.
Meanwhile, the airport authorities issued an advisory for passengers urging them to check their flight status before heading out.
Ahmedabad city recorded 125 mm rainfall in just a couple of hours on July 22 evening, inundating roads and city airport, and inconveniencing commuters and people living in low-lying areas, the SEOC said.
