Delhi minister Atishi took a boat ride on July 10 to monitor the water levels of the Yamuna River.

A day earlier, the Delhi government had issued a flood warning as Haryana released water into the Yamuna from the Hathnikund barrage.

"As per our calculations, by tomorrow morning, water level in the Yamuna will cross the danger mark," she said.

"Evacuation has started of people living close to the water. An evacuation plan is ready. Boats have been stationed in various areas. Boats have rescue equipment," she added.
