A day after the Narendra Modi government defeated the no-confidence motion in the Lok Sabha, the House witnessed disruption as soon as it convened.

On the last day of the Monsoon Session, the Lok Sabha was adjourned for an hour just a minute after convening. Opposition MPs began protesting as soon as the Speaker walked into the House.

A day earlier, the Opposition had staged a walkout before voting on the no-trust motion.
