Uttar Pradesh Police have booked a man after a video went viral of him driving a car on the platform of Agra Cantt railway station.

Media reports suggest that the accused Sunil Kumar was allegedly attempting to shoot videos for a social media platform.

The viral video from March 8 shows the man driving his car in reverse with a train in the background, and passengers gathered around. Officials admitted that a security lapse occurred, and promised action against concerned staff.

Taking cognizance of the purported video, Agra Divisional Commercial Manager Prashasti Srivastava said that the accused was able to drive to the platform due to a security lapse, adding that he has been booked for violating the law.

She also said that action will be taken against railway employees responsible for the security lapse.
