Man stabbed in face for asking extra sauce with momos in Delhi

A 34-year-old man was reportedly stabbed in the face for asking extra red sauce with momos in Delhi's Gokalpuri area.

A police officer said that the victim requested for the spicy sauce twice or thrice which angered the 23-year-old momos seller.

According to the victim's complaint, the vendor told him that he had limited stock available and started hurling abuses at him and pushed him.

The victim added he hit back the momos seller, who then pulled out a knife and stabbed him.

Police said the accused, Vikas, panicked after the attack and left his cart and is still on the run.

A case of attempted murder has been registered against him for injuring his customer and teams have been sent to catch him.

They added that the victim, Rahul, is out of danger and has been discharged from a hospital after treatment.
