Amid the ongoing crisis in Manipur, seven NDA MLAs from the state have reportedly landed in the national capital to seek resolution to the ethnic violence.

As per The Indian Express on June 29,2024, MLAs from BJP and Naga People’s Front arrived in Delhi on June 28, a day after state CM N Biren Singh held a meeting to deliberate on the ‘current situation in Manipur’.

The MLAs have termed the visit as a courtesy call to the Prime Minister but several media reports indicate that the visiting MLAs are seeking resignation of CM Biren Singh.
