A day before the INDIA bloc's meeting in Mumbai, BSP supremo Mayawati hit out at the opposition alliance and ruling NDA for being 'anti-poor' and 'casteist'.
'NDA and INDIA alliances comprise mostly of anti-poor, casteist, communal, pro-rich and capitalist parties against whose policies BSP has always fought. So, there is no question of contesting the election by forging an alliance with them. Therefore, I request media - no fake news please,' Mayawati tweeted
She further said that instead of aligning with other parties, BSP will form an alliance with the downtrodden communities of the country and fight the upcoming state elections and the 2024 general elections on its own.
Mayawati also came down strongly on the opposition alliance for saying that BSP is in cahoots with the BJP.
