A video went viral in which two men were seen doing a stunt on a road in Pimpri-Chinchwad. Soon after that, Pune Police shared a picture of the men and showed the consequences faced by the duo.
In their post, police called the act a stuntbaazi and said that they've given them a 'prize' for it. It was mentioned in the post that police rewarded the perpetrators by registering a case against them under sections 279 and 336 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and sections 184, 119, and 177 of the Motor Vehicles Act. Moreover, the vehicle used in the stunt has also been seized.
Police also said that engaging in such activities can have severe consequences and public spaces are not meant for such stunts. Strict actions will be taken in accordance with applicable laws to deter such activities in the future.
