New urination case at Delhi airport: drunk man peed at departure gate, arrested, say police

Yet another case of public urination has hit India's air travel sector.

In the latest incident, a man allegedly urinated in front of a departure gate at Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport.

The incident took place at Departure Gate 6 at T3 terminal on 8 January 2023. The accused, identified as Jauhar Ali Khan, was flying to Dammam in Saudi Arabia.

Delhi Police on 11 January 2023 said that he appeared to be drunk, and also abused other passengers. Khan was arrested, and later released on a bail bond, police said.
