Allahabad High Court has acquitted the prime accused, Surinder Koli, in Nithari killings in 12 cases. The court also acquitted co-accused Moninder Singh Pandher in two cases in connection with the killings. The serial killings which took place between 2005 and 2006 in Noida rocked the nation as skeletons of several children were found buried in a drain. Koli worked as Pandher's servant in the Noida house. The death sentences to both stand cancelled following the high court's decision.
