Nitish Kumar wins Bihar floor test, RJD-led opposition walks out before vote

Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar won the floor test in the state assembly on Monday even as the RJD-led opposition stage a walkout before the vote. While the Nitish Kumar led NDA govt received 129 votes in its favour, no votes were cast against it. According to reports 5 RJD MLAs defected and voted for Nitish Kumar. The chief minister had moved a confidence motion after he brokes ties with the RJD and joined hands with the BJP.
