An IndiGo passenger, Yavanika Raj Shah, found half her seat missing on a flight from Bengaluru to Bhopal. She shared her ordeal on X, saying she just hoped to land safely.
"Beautiful @IndiGo6E-I do hope I land safely. This is your flight from Bengaluru to Bhopal 6E 6465," the passenger wrote.
IndiGo replied to her post, "Ma'am, thank you for speaking with us. The seat cushions were replaced prior to the flight for cleaning purposes. Our cabin crew promptly informed the customers who were allotted these seats. This is a standard practice for cleaning during transit as and when required."
Social media users suggested that the woman should go to consumer forum and ask for compensation.
One user asked, 'Does the SOP include a refund?'
Earlier, in January, another passenger faced a similar situation as she also found her seat cushion missing on the IndiGo flight.
