Nuh violence: Haryana CM calls high-level meeting at 1 pm

Haryana chief minister has called a high-level meeting at 1 pm to assess the security situation in the state after clashes broke out between two groups in Nuh district on August 1. 

Haryana Home Minister Anil Vij, the state's Chief Secretary and DGP will attend the meeting. 

5 people have died since violent clashes broke out in Haryana's Nuh on July 31. 

According to the police, a 26-year-old man was killed in Gurugram in post-midnight clashes as news of the violence in Nuh spread. The police said that one person died in the Gurugram violence, while three others were injured. 

In Nuh, two more people injured in the violence on July 31 succumbed to their injuries. 

Two home guards had been killed when clashes between two groups turned violent in Haryana's Nuh on July 31. 

Meanwhile, curfew has been imposed Nuh to prevent further escalation with mobile internet being suspended till August 2.
