A purported video shared by the Twitter handle, Citizens Movement, East Bengaluru captures an incident between 2 bikers and a couple in a car. The video, reportedly shot by the dash camera of the car, has captured the moment when a bike collides with the couple's car at a turning.
Soon after the collision, the two men get off the bike and demand the driver of the car to get out of the vehicle. The couple, however, denies and begin to drive their car in reverse gear.
The woman, who sat in the passenger seat, is heard saying, 'We have a camera,' as the man backs the car up.
In the 2-minute long video, the men are seen following the car and gesturing at the couple to get out of the vehicle. When the vehicle comes to a stop, one of two men walks to the passenger side and starts banging on the window. Though, he is not seen, the bangs on the window are loud enough to be recorded on the video.

Tagging the Bengaluru police, the Twitter handle wrote, “Horrific incident reported on Sarjapur road near Sofas & More around 3 am today. Miscreant riders collided purposefully to a couple travelling in car. They chased the car for 5km till their society in Chikkanayakanahalli. Don’t open your car in night. Use dash cam. @BlrCityPolice"
Twitter users commented saying that such occurrences were becoming extremely common in Bengaluru.
The Bengaluru city police promptly responded to the tweet saying, “Your Tweet has been forwarded to @bellandurubcp for necessary action in this regard. @acpmarathahalli @dcpwhitefield @AddlCPEast."
On Sunday evening, S Girish, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Whitefield Division, in response to a tweet shared a photo of the two bikers, 'FIR booked & arrested the two men on the bike involved in this incident. Appreciate the swift response by Bellandur Police," he wrote.
