In a rare show of unity, the Opposition has thrown its full support behind the government following the tragic Pahalgam massacre, which claimed 26 lives and heightened tensions with Pakistan.

At an all-party meeting convened this evening, Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar briefed the nation's leaders about the situation.

Rahul Gandhi, Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, declared the unanimous condemnation of the attack by all political parties and affirmed the Opposition's complete backing for any government action deemed necessary in response to the crisis.

"We are collectively committed to restoring peace in Jammu and Kashmir at the earliest," added Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, emphasizing the urgent need for stability in the region.
