Day 4 of the Parliament's second leg of the Budget Session saw the face-off between the government and Opposition intensify. MPs began protesting and raising slogans as soon as both Houses convened.

While the ruling BJP wants Congress leader Rahul Gandhi to apologise for his recent comments on Indian democracy, the Opposition wants a parliamentary probe on the Adani-Hindenburg issue.

The fracas caused both the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha to be adjourned within less than 3 minutes. Both Houses were adjourned for 3 hours.
