Parliament security breach | Former Karnataka DSP's son detained: reports

Days after the December 13 Parliament security breach, the son of a former police official has reportedly been detained.

According to media reports, the Delhi Police detained Sai Krishna, the son of retired Deputy Superintendent of Police from Karnataka’s Bagalkote.

Krishna is being brought to the national capital. According to NDTV, Sai Krishna is a friend of Manoranjan D, who set of smoke cans inside the Lok Sabha and was arrested and charged under anti-terror law UAPA.

As many as six persons have been arrested and facing charges under UAPA following the incident.

While the government has ordered a probe, the Opposition MPs have demanded a statement on the matter from Home Minister Amit Shah in the Parliament.

Over 140 Opposition MPs have been suspended from the Parliament over the issue.
