PM Modi inaugurates world's longest twin-lane ‘Sela Tunnel’ in Arunachal Pradesh

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated ‘Sela Tunnel’ in Arunachal Pradesh on 9th March. It is said to be the world’s longest twin-lane tunnel.

The Sela Tunnel will provide all weather connectivity to Tawang across Sela pass on the Balipara -Chariduar- Tawang Road in Arunachal Pradesh.

The foundation stone of Sela Tunnel, built at a cost of about ₹825 crore, was laid by PM Modi in February 2019.

The prime minister unveiled projects worth ₹55,600 crore in the Northeast.
