As the investigation into the alleged paper leak in the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) continues, Patna Police have made 13 arrests over the last two days in connection with the case.
The individuals arrested include two paper setters, their two associates, the father of two examinees, the mother of an examinee, and a driver. Furthermore, four individuals who took the NEET exam have also been arrested, facing charges of breach of trust and conspiracy under relevant sections.
Patna SSP Rajeev Mishra stated to the Indian Express on Tuesday that the allegations of the paper leak are under investigation. He emphasised that it's premature to comment, given the potential impact on the futures of over 24 lakh students.
The all-India level NEET exam was conducted on May 5, adding urgency to the investigation.
