Raghav Chadha, Aam Aadmi Party MP has approached the Supreme Court of India over Rajya Sabha suspension.

Chadha moved the plea on October 10 against the indefinite suspension from the upper house.

Chadha who is the member of Parliament from Punjab called his suspension "arbitrary and illegal", adding that the Privileges Committee of the Upper House did not take any action leading to the indefinite delay in the issue.

Pertinently, the AAP MP was suspended from Rajya Sabha in August after he was accused of forging the signs of 5 fellow parliamentarians while moving a motion on the Delhi Services Bill.
