Actor Kangana Ranaut in a rare admission said she doesn’t mind joining politics.
Speaking at an Aaj Tak conclave, Ranaut on Saturday said if people and the party (BJP) wants her to contest from Himachal Pradesh’s Mandi constituency, she will consider it.
Himachal Pradesh, which is Ranaut’s home state, is due for assembly polls in November this year.
The actor said that it will be her honour to serve the people of the state and that she was open to all kinds of participation in government activities.
Kanagan’s foray into politics has been speculated for long. Time and again the 35-year-old actor has extended support to the BJP-led Centre and their policies.
Though recently, she had refuted the rumours of her joining politics saying she has no such intent and was only interested in making movies on the subject.
