Days after gangster Atiq Ahmed and his brother Ashraf Ahmed were killed while in police custody, the Al-Qaeda in Indian Subcontinent (AQIS) has threatened attacks on India, as per an India Today report.
The terror group in its Eid message has threatened revenge and called Atiq and his brother Ashraf "martyrs".
The propaganda media wing of Al-Qaeda, in its 7-page magazine, has promised to "liberate Muslims".
Gangster-turned-politician Atiq Ahmed and his brother Ashraf were shot dead at close range on April 15 by three assailants posing as journalists. Atiq and Ashraf were killed when they were interacting with the media.
