Drama occurred at the Aam Aadmi Party's roadshow in Gujarat on April 2. A man almost fell of the roof of a building as the convoy led by Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann passed by.
News agency ANI reported that the man was saved by others present, even as those on the AAP vehicle urged people to get back to safer spots. The building was either under construction, or in a dilapidated state, as per visuals.
The roadshow in Ahmedabad was held as the Aam Aadmi Party has shifted its focus to Gujarat, after a sweeping victory in Punjab recently. The AAP bested deep-rooted parties like Congress, and Shiromani Akali Dal, to win Punjab in emphatic fashion.
BJP-ruled Gujarat is set to go to polls later this year, along with Himachal Pradesh. Kejriwal and Mann also visited the Sabarmati Ashram to pay homage to MK Gandhi.
Addressing a gathering, Mann said, "In Punjab, the AAP flag is flying. Now, Delhi and Punjab are done... Now, Delhi and Punjab are done. We are preparing for Gujarat. Inquilab Zindabad! (long live the revolution)"
