Bihar Assembly proceedings were disrupted on 14 March 2023 as the ruling party and Opposition MLAs trooped into the well. Marshals were called to prevent physical clashes between the legislators.

The clash was sparked by the Speaker adjourning the House within an hour of convening, as a BJP MLA was accused of vandalising a microphone.

CPI(ML)-Liberation MLA Satya Dev Ram claimed that first BJP MLA Lakhendra Raushan tore away a microphone, and then hurled abuses at him. The BJP legislator said that the mic was defective and "came off on its own".
