Bharatiya Janata Party took a dig at the Congress on Wednesday saying the ambitious 'Bharat Jodo' yatra is actually ‘Parivar Jodo’ after Robert Vadra, a business and son-in law of interim Congress chief shared posters featuring him alongside Sonia Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and Rahul Gandhi.

Taking a swipe at the grand old party over the posters, BJP leader Shehzad Poonawalla said, Congress’ Bharat Jodo is actually only Parivar Jodo and Bhrashtachar Jodo.

Rahul Gandhi could not unify his own party and there is a regular "court chorus" for him to become the party president again while he is often abroad, said BJP leader and former Union minister Ravi Shankar Prasad while speaking to reporters.

Hitting back at the saffron party, Congress leader Kanhaiya Kumar said the BJP's 1990 Rath Yatra was for seeking "satta (power)", but the Congress' 'Bharat Jodo Yatra' is for "satya (truth)".

Kumar is slated to walk the entire 3,570-km distance of the Kanyakumari to Kashmir Yatra as a ‘Bharat Yatri.’
