Bihar's capital Patna witnessed hectic political activity on June 23 with a meeting of over a dozen political parties scheduled for later in the day.
Top politicians from many parts of the country were seen arriving for the meeting to discuss a possible joint strategy for the 2024 Lok Sabha polls.
Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi were received by Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar himself at the airport.
From Maharashtra, NCP supremo Sharad Pawar, and Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray arrived in Patna for the meeting.
Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav is expected to be the only leader from Uttar Pradesh participating in the huddle.
West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and CPI(M) leader Sitaram Yechury were also spotted in Patna for the discussions.
Aam Aadmi Party's Raghav Chadha was also seen arriving for the meeting.
