The Central Bureau of Investigation has accepted Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia’s request for more time to appear before it over the excise policy case.
Reports said the central probe agency will issue a fresh notice to him in the coming days.
Sisodia, who was called by the CBI on February 19, for questioning, is among the 15 people being probed in the Delhi excise policy “scam”. But his name is not in the chargesheet that the probe agency filed in 2022.
The Deputy CM cited the preparation of the Delhi Budget while seeking more time.
