The Aam Aadami Party has declared 40-year-old Isudan Gadhvi as their chief ministerial face for Gujarat. Arvind Kejriwal said that 73% of the people voted for him in a poll conducted by the party for chief ministerial candidate.

Isudan Gadhvi, the National Joint Secretary of AAP, is a former journalist.

He started his career with a popular Doordarshan show called 'Yojana' and then went to work as a reporter in ETV Gujarati from 2007-2011.

Gadhavi exposed a Rs 150 crore deforestation scam in Gujarat's Dang district, promoting then Gujarat govt to take action against officials.

He became the youngest channel head in Gujarati media after he joined VTV Gujarati in 2015. Gadhavi's show on the channel, 'Mahamanthan' was immensely popular.

The 40-year-old joined the Aam Aadmi Party in June 2021.
