Ahead of the new Parliament building inauguration, more details on the grand ceremony have emerged. As per India Today, the ceremony will begin with Havan, followed by the installation of Sengol, the release of a special coin and stamp and lastly, speech by the President and the Vice-president will be read out.
The Havan will be performed between 7.30 to 8.30 am on May 28, the day of the inauguration.
After this, between 8.30-9.00 am, Sengol installation will take place.
Following this, special coin and stamp will reportedly be released.
India will get a new seat of power on Sunday, with the inauguration of the new building built over an area of 64,500 square metres.
