JDU leader KC Tyagi has claimed that the INDIA bloc had offered Nitish Kumar the prime ministerial post to persuade him to join the group.
Speaking to Indian Express, Tyagi said that the same INDIA bloc that had “refused” to make Kumar its convenor is now making offers to make him the PM.
Tyagi added that Nitish was forced to return to the NDA due to ill-treatment by the Congress and other parties and that there was no question of looking back anymore.
"We are now a valued partner of the NDA and we will strengthen hands of Narendra Modi, who is all set to become Prime Minister for the third straight term," Tyagi was quoted as saying by Indian Express.
