Ahead of a mega Opposition meeting in Bengaluru, Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge reacted to the BJP's plan for a meeting of 30 parties on July 18 to demonstrate the strength of the National Democratic Alliance.
Kharge invoked Prime Minister Narendra Modi's statement in February this year when he said, "The country is seeing how one person is proving too much to handle for so many people."
The Congress chief said, "PM Modi says he is enough to dominate the entire Opposition. PM says he alone is enough. Then why is he trying to gather 30 parties?"
"What the Opposition is doing has worried PM Modi. In his nervousness, he is trying to gather factions of parties. By doing that, he is trying to depict a big number. It's not important," he added.
