With the Opposition moving a no-confidence motion in Parliament against the Modi government amid an impasse over the Manipur situation, an RJD MP explained the rationale behind the decision despite not having adequate numbers.

RJD MP Manoj Jha on July 26 said, "We know that the numbers are not in our favour, but democracy is not just a game of numbers."

"Manipur is burning. People of Manipur are waiting for PM to open his mouth. He was not opening his mouth any other way. Maybe PM can be made to speak through a no-confidence motion," he added.
