Congress General Secretary, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra will elect the next chief minister of Himachal Pradesh according to a report by NDTV.
This comes as intense lobbying continued for the chief minister's post on Saturday, a day after the newly elected Congress MLAs unanimously passed a resolution authorising the party president to pick the legislature party leader.
Earlier, leaders credited Priyanka Gandhi Vadra's campaign in the hill state for the good showing of the party in the assembly elections.
