Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday reacted to parts of his Lok Sabha speech being expunged.

"In Modi ji's world, truth can be expunged. But in reality, the truth can't be expunged. I said what I had to say, that is the truth. They can expunge as much as they want. Truth is truth," said Gandhi, who is the Leader of the Opposition in Lok Sabha.

Gandhi's remarks on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP and RSS have been removed from Lok Sabha records. The expunged portion also includes Gandhi's 'not Hindus' dig aimed at BJP, to which Modi had objected in the House.

Gandhi's speech was widely circulated on social media.
