Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's passport application was partially accepted by a Delhi court on May 26, 2023.

Gandhi was granted a no-objection certificate, or NOC, for an "ordinary passport" for 3 years. He had sought a NOC for 10 years.

Gandhi filed the application after surrendering his diplomatic passport upon disqualification as a Member of Parliament.

BJP leader Subramanian Swamy, a complainant in the National Herald case against Gandhi, had appealed that he be given NOC for only one year.
