The Rajya Sabha witnessed uproar on August 10 as the Opposition again demanded the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi during a discussion on the Manipur situation.

Congress chief and Leader of Opposition Kharge sought a discussion and asked whether Modi is 'god' that he can't attend the proceedings.

Kharge said, "What will happen if PM Modi comes to House? Is Modi god? Is Modi god? He is not god."

The House was adjourned for around two and a half hours amid the ensuing chaos.
