An election rally of BRS politician KT Rama Rao appeared to hit a speedbump. Telangana’s IT minister KT Rama Rao nearly fell off a high platform mounted on a bus.

KTR, who is the son of Telangana CM, held onto the railing as at least one other person toppled over it. He was accompanied by Jeevan Reddy and Suresh Reddy during the rally.

The incident happened when the BRS politician was on top of a bus that passed through a narrow street in Armoor town of Nizamabad.

The small bus appeared to stop when people started running ahead of the bus. The driver then slammed the brakes, slinging away the politicians. While KTR managed to balance himself with the help of a security official, other politicians reportedly suffered minor bruises.

Telangana is bound for elections later this year. Polls of the 119 seats open on November 30.
