Amid ongoing political crisis in Himachal Pradesh, Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu hinted that his party would forgive the MLAs who cross-voted in the Rajya Sabha elections.
"We are forgiving people. We do not work vindictively. All of them (rebel MLAs) are our younger brothers," said Sukhu.
The CM further said he is trying to placate Congress leader Vikramaditya Singh who resigned as minister in the state government.
"Vikramaditya Singh is my younger brother and I have spoken to him...They (Congress MLAs who voted for BJP candidate in RS polls) should have respected the party. They may be upset with me, but a person like Abhishek Singhvi should have gone to the Rajya Sabha from Himachal Pradesh, but they did not vote for him and betrayed the party. This has never happened before in the history of state politics," said Sukhu.
Sukhu expressed confidence that his government would complete the full term.
