Delhi police's crackdown on posters targeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi invited a sharp response from the Aam Aadmi Party.

After Delhi police reportedly filed around 100 FIRs and arrested over 5 persons, the Aam Aadmi Party said that Modi's dictatorship had reached its peak.

Delhi's ruling party asked why PM Modi was so scared of posters saying "Modi Hatao, Desh Bachao", or remove Modi and save the nation. The party added, "Maybe PM Modi does not know that India is a democratic nation."

Earlier, cops claimed to have seized thousands of such posters allegedly being taken to AAP's office.
