Poll of polls: Congress has edge in Telangana, KCR may fall short of getting 3rd term as CM

Most exit polls have predicted an edge to the Congress in Telangana where it is pitted against the ruling BRS led by chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao. 

For the southern state, while India TV-CNX forecast 63-79 seats for the Congress, 31-47 for the BRS, 2-4 for the BJP and 5-7 for the AIMIM in the 116-member assembly where 60 seats are needed to form the government. 

Jan Ki Baat forecast that the Congress would get 48-64 seats, the BRS would fall short of majority with 40-55, and the BJP 7-13 and AIMIM 4-7. 

While the Republic TV-Matrize predicted that the Congress would get 58-68 seats, BRS 46-56, BJP 4-9 and AIMIM 5-9, the TV9 Bharatvarsh Polstrat stated that the Congress would get 49-59 seats and the BRS would get 48-58.
