Strong tremors felt in Delhi-NCR after 6.2 magnitude earthquake hits Nepal

Strong tremors were felt in Delhi-NCR and across north India on Tuesday afternoon after an earthquake with a magnitude of 6.2 on the Richter Scale hit Nepal. 

The tremors were felt for nearly a minute spreading panic and chaos.

The earthquake was recorded with epicentre at Talkot area of Bajhang district, 700 km west of Kathmandu, at 2.40 p.m., it said.

 

 

Residents and office workers were seen rushing out of the building to safety.
