A cache of arms and ammunition, including two AK-47 assault rifles, was recovered by Border Security Force (BSF) troops along the India-Pakistan International Border in Punjab, as per officials.
The recovery was made at around 12 noon on Sunday.
Two AK-47 rifles, four magazines apart from two pistols and some cartridges were recovered by BSF personnel during checks in the Abohar sector of Punjab, as per a senior officer.

Notably, the recovery comes a day after Sarhali police station in Punjab's Tarn Taran district was attacked using RPG on December 10.
