Industrialists hail Punjab CM for taking path-breaking initiatives to boost economic growth

Captains of Industry lauded Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann on Monday for implementing several industry-friendly policies aimed at accelerating industrial growth in the state.

President of the Chamber of Commercial and Industrial Undertakings (CCU), Upkar Singh Ahuja, praised the Chief Minister and the Punjab government for introducing groundbreaking initiatives to foster industrial development. He highlighted that every concern raised by the industry is promptly addressed by the government, calling it an unprecedented approach. "The officers come to the doorsteps of industrialists to resolve their issues, which has never happened before," he remarked.

Amit Thapar from the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Punjab acknowledged the state government’s proactive stance in addressing industrial challenges. He noted that, for the first time in Punjab’s history, the entire government machinery, including senior ministers, is easily accessible. "This pace of industrial development is expected to continue, as the state’s industrial policy is acting as a catalyst," he said.

Chairman of CII Punjab, Amit Jain, credited the Chief Minister’s leadership for introducing progressive and industry-friendly decisions. Expressing gratitude to the Punjab government for its innovative policies, he emphasized the significant boost these measures have provided to industrial development. He assured full support from the industry in making Punjab a leading state in industrial progress.

Rahul Ahuja, Convener of the Apex Chamber of Industry, also commended the Chief Minister for implementing industry-friendly reforms. He pointed out that transformative changes in health and education sectors have positively impacted citizens while resolving long-standing industrial concerns. "For the first time, the demands of industrialists are being met by the government," he stated.

Neeraj Satija, Convener of CII, echoed similar sentiments, stating that industrialists are highly satisfied with the government's key decisions supporting the sector. He highlighted the benefits businesses have gained from the pro-industry policies of the Punjab government and appreciated the introduction of several progressive policies aimed at strengthening industrial units.

Pankaj Sharma, President of Industry and Trade, acknowledged the growth and prosperity seen in Punjab’s industrial sector since the new government took charge. He credited the state government for extending strong support to the MSME sector, allowing it to flourish. "Many long-pending issues of the industry have been resolved by the government, which is highly commendable," he noted.
