Ludhiana district education officer issues orders for polling station arrangements

The District Education Officer of Ludhiana, Punjab, has issued orders concerning various arrangements for polling stations ahead of the Lok Sabha elections scheduled for June 1st.

The Election Commission has directed the maintenance of hygiene and facilities at polling stations, including the provision of clean water, tank cleaning, restroom sanitation, and managing equipment such as generators and fans.

Additionally, arrangements for party representatives and polling agents have been specified, along with instructions for staff to bring voter cards for rehearsal.

Furthermore, the officer has urged that all expenses on polling day should be documented in the consolidated fund and compliance reports must be submitted to the District Education Officer by April 29th.
