Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann promises cheaper power to industries

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on March 12 announced significant reforms in the power sector, promising affordable electricity for industrialists. Mann informed about the reforms at the Sarkar Vyapaar Milni event held in Hoshiarpur.

While speaking at the gathering, he pledged ₹2.5 crore for a modern fire station in Hoshiarpur, with plans to convert the existing station into a cow shed and parking area. 

The industrial area was transferred to PSIEC, with development tenders worth ₹1 crore to be issued soon.


Furthermore, Gopi Chand Kapoor of Vyapaar Mandal appreciated the CM's efforts for traders' welfare. Hoshiarpur Industrial Area President Sanjeev Singla raised development concerns, to which the CM assured swift action, emphasizing exemplary progress in the area.
