Rain lashes Delhi for second consecutive day, IMD issues yellow alert

A fresh spell of rain drenched Delhi on Sunday morning with the Met office predicting more showers during the day. IMD has issued a yellow alert for the city.

The IMD has issued a yellow alert for the city, as well as orange alerts for Punjab, Haryana, and Chandigarh.

The highest continuous downpour in a single day during the month of July in the last two decades crippled Delhi on Saturday, with waterlogging and traffic snarls on arterial routes being reported from across the city.
