Rain lashed parts of Delhi and the national capital region for the second consecutive day on 3rd March in the early hours. Areas including Mandi House, RK Puram, Indraprastha, Kartavya Path and Central Delhi witnessed fresh showers.
Noida, Greater Noida and Ghaziabad also witnessed rains in the morning.
The India Meteorological Department also predicted rains in Muzaffarnagar, Saharanpur and Meerut in Uttar Pradesh and Kurukshetra, Yamunanagar, Kaithal, Karnal, Jind and Ambala in Haryana.
Following rainfall the minimum temperature departure on Saturday was recorded above normal at isolated places over Haryana, Chandigarh, and Delhi, as per IMD.
In Jammu and Kashmir, Katra and Batote saw hailstorms, while heavy snowfall was reported in the Valley.
