Jammu and Kashmir Police has announced a reward of Rs 10 lakh for sharing specific information about terrorists involved in attack on civilians in Rajouri district on January 1.

Six civilians, including a 4-year-old kid, were killed in the attack by the militants.

While Deepak Kumar, Satish Kumar, Pritam Pal and Shiv Pal were killed in firing by unidentified terrorists on January 1, a 4-year-old boy Vihan Sharma and 16-year-old Samiksha Sharma were killed a day later when an IED exploded near the scene of the firing.

According to the officials, the IED was apparently left by a militant in front of one of the victim's house before fleeing which was set on a timer.

The IED went off a day later killing two children.
