Marking a significant first during the Republic Day parade, the Indian military provided an exhilarating view into the cockpits of its fighter jets. The IAF reportedly coordinated with state broadcaster Doordarshan to show recorded in-flight videos during the parade. Large screens erected at the parade venue showed the visuals to the gathered audience.

The aircraft part of the display were the recently acquired Rafale, MiG 29K, P-8I surveillance planes, Sukhoi, Jaguar, Mi-17, Sarang, Apache, and Dakota, as per reports. Aircraft from all three wings of the military - Army, Air Force, and Navy - were part of the parade.
With India celebrating its 75th year of independence, 17 Jaguar jets formed the figure of 75, called the 'Amrit' formation. A total of 75 aircraft flew past Rajpath to commemorate the same.
